Pros:
~Very light smell. I only notice it when I'm actually putting it on, which is the only time I want to notice it!
~I've had no allergic reactions or sensitivities to wearing this.
Cons:
~I have to use a lot more than I thought for it to be effective & last all day. While reviews on some scents have mentioned about six months' worth being in each jar, I've used half the jar in two months, so I'm definitely getting through it faster than expected. Compared to a stick product though, there's certainly more here.
~This isn't always effective. When I'm menstruating, I might as well have put nothing on. There's no deodorizing effect whatsoever for that week.
~If you leave the deodorant on overnight, it smells really bad the next day, which is not a problem I've had with other natural deodorants. Maybe it's just this scent? Or just how this scent is reacting with my body chemistry?
~Application is messy. I can't just put this on in my bedroom, chuck on a shirt, and go. I need to be in the bathroom so I can wash my hands before touching anything, and this stuff likes to stay on.
Allllll of that said, though, I think I'll buy another. For the overall experience, it has its moments, but I'm really not upset by this product. I'd love to try some of the other scents, especially to discover if some of the issues I had with this one have to do with this particular scent or the product line as a whole. The price for the amount of product you get is pretty exceptional. My only real concern is that I'll run out of this during the summer, as I live in the American southwest and most things melt in the mail. I'll probably have to wait until later in the year to get a refill.....and maybe look into another deodorant to give me that extra boost during that one week every month.
